Windows Explorer Tracker (WET) is used to track and record your operations in Windows Explorer automatically. The objects of operations contain files, folders, drives and storage media, the operations contain 'Delete', 'Rename', 'Create', 'Copy', 'Move', 'Insert', 'Add', 'Remove', and so on. It supports to track and record operations on remote hosts (via the mapped network drive). WET supplies some additional helpful functions also: view history logs, output specific logs to Excel document, manage log files, map/disconnect network drive, and so on.

This basic application lets you record your Windows Explorer activities. Windows Explorer Tracker's straightforward interface focuses on operations done to files, folders, drives, and storage media. Windows Explorer Tracker works in the background, logging actions such as new file or folder creations, drive label renaming, and file movements on your hard drive and even on disks. The evaluation version is fully functional, but you can only record 16 operations per day. During tests, the program kept track of and logged our every move, displaying the date, filenames, and actions taken. Log files can be saved in an output file in Microsoft Excel. Those needing to retrace their Windows Explorer steps on a regular basis might find this application useful.
